HuangYongYang / Notes

A bilingual personal blog customized from Astro Sphere, with quiet typography, a starfield, and dedicated writing and project spaces.

The goal

A personal space for technical writing and GitHub projects that can be maintained over time. Minimal presentation, considered motion, and a straightforward publishing workflow.

Design decisions

  • Original Astro Sphere homepage, navigation, monochrome colors, typography, and cards.
  • Light-mode particles and a dark-mode starfield with twinkling stars, meteors, and the original curved horizon.
  • The initial theme follows the system and remembers the visitor’s choice. Article pages use a solid background.
  • Chinese and English content live in separate routes and are paired through a translation key.

Content and interaction

Writing and projects are managed as Markdown files. Search and tag filters run locally in the browser, without sign-in or a database. Reading pages keep code copying and previous/next navigation within the same language. The language switch is in the footer.
